The 301B is a competition quality narrow dowel leather grip. The palm piece is ¼ inch narrower than a standard width grip which is better for littler gymnasts.
It has a single, thick buckle strap which allows the gymnast to secure the grip on the wrist.
This grip is recommended for gymnasts that have narrower or smaller hands, or the gymnast that likes to maintain more feel on the bar. It is appropriate for any level gymnast.
